Our Kittens
Thank you for your interest in our kittens! We take great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized kittens that make loving additions to their forever homes. All of our kittens are raised in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment and receive the highest standard of care from birth.
Before going to their new homes, each kitten will:
• Be vet-checked and in excellent health
• Receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
• Be litter-trained and eating solid food
• Come with a health guarantee and starter kit

Health
At Anderpride, the health and well-being of our Maine Coons is our highest priority. We are committed to responsible breeding practices and work diligently to ensure that each of our cats is genetically sound, physically healthy, and well-prepared to live a long, happy life in their new homes.
Comprehensive Health Screening
All of our breeding cats undergo extensive health testing prior to entering our breeding program. This includes screening for common genetic conditions known to affect the Maine Coon breed, such as:
• Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) – We use both genetic testing and regular echocardiograms to screen for HCM, the most common heart disease in cats.
• Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) – A genetic disorder that affects the spinal cord’s motor neurons. All of our breeding cats are tested to ensure they are either clear or not bred in a way that could produce affected kittens.
• Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) – We genetically screen our cats to prevent this inherited kidney condition.
• Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef) – A genetic disorder affecting red blood cells. Our cats are tested to ensure carriers are not bred together.
Routine Veterinary Care
In addition to genetic testing, all of our cats receive:
• Regular veterinary check-ups
• Up-to-date vaccinations
• FIV/FeLV testing
• Parasite prevention and treatment as needed
We also maintain strict biosecurity protocols in our cattery to minimize the risk of illness and ensure a clean, safe environment for both kittens and adult cats.

Our goal is to contribute positively to the breed by producing healthy, well-socialized, and true-to-type Maine Coons with exceptional temperaments and strong genetic.
Purposeful, Ethical Breeding
Each of our breeding decisions is made with careful consideration of health, temperament, structure, and pedigree. We focus on preserving and enhancing the qualities that make the Maine Coon such a beloved breed – their gentle nature, intelligence, and impressive size and coat.
We never breed for quantity – only quality. Our breeding cats are:
• Fully health-tested (including HCM, SMA, PKD, PKDef, and more)
• Selected from strong pedigrees with champion lines (if applicable)
• Evaluated for breed standard, temperament, and overall vitality
Breeding Pair Availability
We offer limited, approved stud services to registered and reputable catteries that share our commitment to health and responsible breeding. All outside queens must:
• Be in good health and up to date on vaccinations
• Have a negative FeLV/FIV test within 30 days of the breeding
• Be cleared of parasites
• Be genetically tested (proof required)
• Be of appropriate age and condition for breeding
Stud contracts, fees, and terms will be discussed on a case-by-case basis to ensure a professional and respectful partnership.
